9-11 Again

This generation's Pearl Harbor happened in three places in the United States. It happened for many reasons but at its core is the hatred of one people who malappropriated God and was acted out on those whom they deemed to be infidels in the land of the great satan. Eight years later it is an overseas contingency operation not a war on terror. The Speaker of the House now says there's no support in Congress for providing more troops in Afghanistan to close down this sphere of Islamic fundamentalist warfare against anyone who is an American or allies itself with America. This Nation is not worth saving and protecting is what the Speaker is saying. She is not interested in upholding and protecting the citizens represented by our laws and Constitution. Perhaps Madam Speaker would best serve our Nation by going personally to speak Osama bin Laden, the Taliban, Ahmadinenjhad and the Somali warlords whose solemn vow is to destroy us. Perhaps she can resolve this without a single shot being fired ever again. What say you Madam Speaker?

I say that you are creating the fertile soil for yet another attack on this once great Nation. I say that you know you can hide behind braver women and men than you. You can fly above it all in your tax-payer provided jet. Madam Speaker there is a thing called gravity...what goes up must come down.
